Step 4: Installing the Avanan Solution

You must install the published Avanan solution from the Microsoft Sentinel Content Hub. The Content Hub installation uses the deployment template included in the solution package.

  1. Open the relevant Microsoft Sentinel workspace.
  2. In the Content management section, select Content hub.
  3. Search for Avanan and select the Avanan solution.
  4. Click View details.
  5. Click Create or Install.

  6. Select the Azure subscription.
  7. Select the required Resource group.
  8. From the Region dropdown, select the required Azure region.
  9. Select the required Log Analytics workspace.
  10. Review the deployment configuration and click Review + Create.
  11. After validation succeeds, click Create.

    The deployment includes the following resources:

    • Avanan Sentinel content

    • Custom Log Analytics table

    • Data Collection Rule

    • Data Collection Endpoint

    Wait for the deployment to complete before you continue.
