Working with Licenses
You can manage licenses on your Security Gateways in these ways:

In SmartConsole Check Point GUI application used to manage a Check Point environment - configure Security Policies, configure devices, monitor products and events, install updates, and so on. you can activate, add, or delete your licenses. See Viewing Licenses in SmartConsole and Managing Licenses in SmartConsole.

In Gaia Portal Web interface for the Check Point Gaia operating system., you can activate, add, or delete your licenses. See Managing Licenses in the Gaia Portal.

In Gaia Clish The name of the default command line shell in Check Point Gaia operating system. This is a restricted shell (role-based administration controls the number of commands available in the shell). or the Expert mode, you can add or delete your licenses with the "
cplic

When Security Gateways are not connected to the Internet, you can add, delete, attach, and detach your licenses in SmartUpdate Legacy Check Point GUI client used to manage licenses and contracts in a Check Point environment.. See Using Legacy SmartUpdate.
When Security Gateways are connected to the Internet, they are able to get and update their licenses and contracts without SmartUpdate.
