Installing a Jumbo Hotfix with Central Deployment from SmartConsole - Recommended

Central Deployment allows you to perform a batch deployment of Jumbo Hotfix Accumulators and Hotfixes from SmartConsole.

Note:

  • You can select up to 30 Check Point Firewall and ClusterXL Cluster Members.

  • You can deploy a package to 10 targets at the same time.

  • This feature also supports the installation of packages on Management Servers and Log Servers. See the Release Notes for your server version.

  1. In the left navigation panel, click Gateways & Servers.
  2. Select the target Check Point Firewall or ClusterXL object for deployment.
    To select multiple targets, press and hold the CTRL key.
  3. Right-click the selected Check Point Firewall / Cluster Member > Actions > Install Hotfix/Jumbo....
  4. In the Install Hotfix/Jumbo window, follow the applicable option:
    • Choose Install the recommended Jumbo, click Install.
    • Choose Install a specific Hotfix/Jumbo, find a preferred Take and then click Install.
  5. Monitor the installation progress in the Recent Tasks window.

When the installation is complete, the installed Jumbo Hotfix Accumulators Take number is updated in Gateways & Servers overview and in the Summary tab of the selected Check Point Firewall / Cluster Member.
