Installing a Jumbo Hotfix in Gaia Clish

Install the Recommended Build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.

Important:

We recommend configuring CPUSE Update Settings to allow self-update of the CPUSE Agent. See the CPUSE Administration Guide.
On Scalable Platforms, follow the instructions in the R82 Scalable Platforms Administration Guide.

This procedure installs a Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator in Gaia Clish.

Connect to command line on the Gaia Server.

Important:

On Scalable Platforms (ElasticXL and Maestro), you must connect to the Gaia Portal of the applicable Security Group.
If your default shell is the Expert mode, then go to Gaia Clish.

Obtain the lock over the Gaia configuration database:

HostName> lock database override
```

Get the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package in one of the available ways.


Option	Instructions
Import from Cloud	Examine the list of the available CPUSE packages: `HostName> show installer packages all` A new row appears in the corresponding section: `Major Versions` `Gaia Fast Deployment Images` `Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator Takes` `Hotfix Packages` Import the required Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package: `HostName> installer import cloud <CPUSE Identifier>` Note: The "`<CPUSE Identifier>`" string is provided in ../../Downloads.html#Downloads__section_CPUSE_Online_Identifiers. The message "`No package was found`" appears if such CPUSE package does not exist, if there is a mistake in the pasted CPUSE Identifier, or if this CPUSE package is not compatible with your Gaia version.
Import from a Local Directory	If the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package is already stored locally on the Gaia Server, use this command: `HostName> installer import local <Full Local Path> [not-interactive]` Replace `<Full Local Path>` with the complete path including the filename. Example: `/var/log/Hotfix_Package.tgz` The path must start from the root directory (`/`)
Import from an FTP Server	If the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package is stored on an FTP Server, use this command: `HostName> installer import ftp <FTP IPv4 address> path <FTP Path> username <FTP Username> [password <FTP Password>] [not-interactive]`

Install the imported Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package:

HostName> installer install PRESS THE TAB KEY TO SEE ALL PACKAGES
HostName> installer install <ID> [not-interactive]
