Child Account Settings

To manage services efficiently and still meet individual client needs, Managed Security ServiceClosed A Check Point service offering that helps customers with deployments or technical services for Check Point products. Providers (MSSPs) can configure default auto-replacement settings for the Infinity Portal services at the MSSP level. These settings automatically replace trial contracts with PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) contracts upon expiration for each child account.

Prerequisite

The MSSPClosed Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) - An managed security service provider (MSSP) provides outsourced monitoring and management of security devices and systems. Common services include managed firewall, intrusion detection, virtual private network, vulnerability scanning and anti-viral services. must be authorized to allocate Pay-As-You-Go Contracts.

To configure automatic replacement of contracts:

  1. From the top toolbar, navigate to > Manage Accounts.

  2. In the left-side menu, expand Child Accounts Settings and open the Auto License Settings page.

    This page shows all products the MSSP is authorized to resell.

  3. For each service, select whether to enable auto-replacement.

    If enabled, specify the default package, add-on, or bundle that replaces the trial version upon expiration.

  4. Under Notifications, configure your preferences to receive alerts about the auto-replacement actions. You can select to be notified:

    • Five days before the replacement occurs

    • On the day of the replacement

    • Both options

  5. Even if a default setting is configured, you can override these settings for a specific customer account.

    When creating a trial contract for your child customer, you can select whether to use the default replacement or choose a specific one.
