Recover a Media Encryption & Port Protection password with Remote Help

  1. Go to Asset Management > Organization > Computers.
  2. Click and select Remote Help & Recovery > Media Encryption.

    The Media Encryption Remote Help window opens.

  3. Do these:
    1. Select the user.
    2. In the Challenge field, enter the challenge code that the user gives you. Users get the Challenge from the Endpoint client.
    3. Click Generate Response.

      Media Encryption & Port Protection authenticates the challenge code and generates a Response code..

    4. Give the Response code to the user.
    5. Make sure that the user can access the storage device successfully.
