Viewing the Network Interface Type

Step

Description

Connect to the command line on the Security Appliance.

Log in to Gaia Clish.

Examine the interface type:

show interface <Interface Name> type

  • For the accelerated interface, the output shows AC Ethernet.
  • For the accelerated interface in the Acceleration Bypass mode, the output shows AC Bypassed.

Example 1 - Accelerated interface:

MyAppliance> show interface eth1-01 type
type AC Ethernet
MyAppliance>

Example 2 - Non-accelerated interface:

MyAppliance> show interface eth2-01 type
type AC Bypassed
MyAppliance>

Example 3 - Regular interface:

To show the hardware information about the acceleration cards only, run:

show asset ac

To show all hardware information, including the acceleration cards, run:

show asset all

Viewing the Hardware Sensors on the Installed Cards

Connect to the command line on the Security Appliance.

Log in to Gaia Clish.

Run one of these two commands to show the information from the hardware sensors:

  • show sysenv all
  • cpstat -f sensors os

For the Falcon Acceleration Cards, the output shows the data from these sensors:

  • Temperature of acceleration card slots (examine the Falcon-<Slot#> <Speed> NPU Temp).
  • Fan on acceleration card (examine the Falcon-<Slot#> <Speed> Fan).
  • Voltage on acceleration card (examine the Falcon-<Slot#> <Speed> Vcore).
