Using Infinity AI Copilot in SmartConsole

The Infinity AI Copilot is an intelligent assistant integrated into SmartConsoleClosed Check Point GUI application used to manage a Check Point environment - configure Security Policies, configure devices, monitor products and events, install updates, and so on., designed to streamline tasks and deliver actionable insights for efficient security management.

The Infinity AI Copilot was trained to understand and read Check Point Security PoliciesClosed Collection of rules that control network traffic and enforce organization guidelines for data protection and access to resources with packet inspection., how ordered layers and Inline Layers work, how Security Gateways match traffic to rules, how to query logs, and so on. The Infinity AI Copilot was also trained based on the content of Administration Guides and Knowledge base SK articles. As a result, the Infinity AI Copilot can provide precise answers about your Check Point environment.

After you connect your Security Management ServerClosed Dedicated Check Point server that runs Check Point software to manage the objects and policies in a Check Point environment within a single management Domain. Synonym: Single-Domain Security Management Server. to the Infinity Portal, the Infinity AI Copilot can read the configured objects, Security Policies, and logs (if you enable "Log Sharing") on your Security Management ServerClosed Check Point Single-Domain Security Management Server or a Multi-Domain Security Management Server. and answer questions about your environment.

Requirements for Web SmartConsole

To use the Infinity AI Copilot in Desktop SmartConsole, you must install these two packages:

  1. Desktop SmartConsole Build 1027 or higher.

  2. Web SmartConsole Take 125 or higher.

To use the Infinity AI Copilot in Web SmartConsole, you must install this package:

Note - We recommend to always install the latest Take of Web SmartConsole.

To Enable the Infinity AI Copilot

  1. Connect your Security Management Server to the Infinity Portal.

  2. Enable the Infinity AI Copilot:

    1. In the Infinity Services page, in the Infinity AI Copilot widget, change the toggle to ON.

    2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

      The Infinity AI Copilot appears in SmartConsole on the right panel (and in the top right).

  3. Optional: To ask questions about logs, it is necessary to share logs.

Features of Infinity AI Copilot

In the Infinity AI Copilot panel, in the top right corner, click the 3-dots icon > click the applicable option:

New chat Opens a new chat.
Export chat Export the current chat and a CSV file.
Chat history Shows the previous questions and answers.
Suggested questions Opens panel.
Feedback Opens a panel to submit detailed feedback for the entire current chat conversation.
Follow-up questions Enables and disables the suggested follow-up questions that appear below the generated answer.
Prompt security

Controls the prompt defender security level:

  • Basic - Provides basic protection for user prompts and responses.

  • Optimized - Offers enhanced protection for user prompts and responses.

  • Strict - Applies the highest level of protection for both user prompts and responses.

Terms & privacy

Opens the web page with the Terms of Service.

Submitting feedback to Infinity AI Copilot

To submit feedback about the entire chat conversation:

  1. In the Infinity AI Copilot panel, in the top right corner, click the 3-dots icon > click Feedback.

  2. Click the applicable icons.

  3. Enter the applicable text.

  4. Click Submit feedback.

To submit feedback about the last generated answer:

  1. In the Infinity AI Copilot panel, below the generated answer, click the thumb-down icon (Dislike) or the thumb-up icon (Like).

  2. In the top section, click the applicable category.

  3. Enter the applicable text.

  4. Click Submit feedback.
