fw defaultgen

Description

Manually generates the Default Filter policy files.

Syntax

fw [-d] defaultgen

Parameters

Parameter	Description
`–d`	Runs the command in debug mode. Use only if you troubleshoot the command itself.
`defaultgen`	Generates the Default Filter policy files: For IPv4 traffic: `$FWDIR/state/default.bin` For IPv6 traffic: `$FWDIR/state/default.bin6` Note - If the Default Filter policy file already exists, the command creates a backup copy `$FWDIR/state/default.bin.bak` (and `$FWDIR/state/default.bin6.bak`)

defaultgen

Generates the Default Filter policy files:

For IPv4 traffic: $FWDIR/state/default.bin
For IPv6 traffic: $FWDIR/state/default.bin6

Note - If the Default Filter policy file already exists, the command creates a backup copy $FWDIR/state/default.bin.bak (and $FWDIR/state/default.bin6.bak)
