SMTP - Action 2 Options
- Attachment handling
- Strip MIME of type - specifies the MIME type to strip from the message. Allowed types are defined in RFC 1521. The message/partial type allows multi-part messages, which are a security risk. If you configured CVP or you configured weeding or stripping in the resource, and did not specify message/partial, SmartConsole asks if you want to strip it.
- Strip file by name - strips file attachments of the specified name from the message. This field enables the user to strip UU-ENCODE and MIME file attachments whose names match any of the defined expressions. Consider the three expressions: {+love*, *.pic, a*.+}. In the following examples, the defined file attachments will be stripped:

- Mail Capacity
- Do Not send mail larger than - Restrict the size of incoming email attachments. This setting does not apply to the processed (after encoding and stripping) email attachments.
- Allowed Characters - The MIME email headers can consist of 8 or 7 bit characters (7 ASCII and 8 for sending Binary characters) in order to encode mail data. For example, "Content-Transferring-Encoding: 7bit". The firewall provides the administrator with the ability to block 8 character bits.
- Weeding - Use Weeding to strip JAVA applets, JAVA scripts, ActiveX tags, FTP links and ports strings from the HTML code in the email messages. The problematic HTML is not deleted, but comments are added so that it has no effect.
