Connecting over Console (Serial) Port

1. Connect the management ports on the SSMs to your network.

2. Connect the data ports on the SSMs to your network.
3. Define the communication parameters in your terminal emulation application (for example, PuTTY):
   • Serial port - 9600 BPS, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit
   • Flow control - None
4. Log in with these credentials:
   • username = admin
   • password = admin
