Upgrading SSM Firmware (asg_ssm_upgrade)
Use this utility to upgrade the SSM firmware to the most recent version. Do the upgrade for one SSM at a time.
Syntax
# asg_ssm_upgrade ssm <ssm_id> [chassis <chassis_id>] [file <firmware_file>]

SSM ID to be upgraded (1, 2, or all)

<chassis_id>

Chassis ID (1, 2, or all)

<firmware_file>

New firmware file name and fully qualified path
|
Notes:
- Make sure that the new firmware file checksum is valid before you upgrade.
- You must copy the new firmware file to all SGMs.
- We recommend that you use a console connection to run this command.
- The SSM automatically reboots after the upgrade. This can cause traffic interruption.
