Creating a Bonding Group

Use this command to create a bonding group. A bonding group is one virtual interface or bond. A bond can contain multiple slaves.

Note - The <bond_id> must be a number. The bond name is created automatically with the bond ID. For example, if you enter 4 for the bond ID, it creates a virtual interface named: bond4

Syntax

> add bonding group <bond_id>

Example

> add bonding group 4

Output

success
1_02:
success
1_03:
success
2_01:
success
2_03:
success
>

When you this command, it creates one virtual interface (bond4) that includes all SGM interfaces on each Chassis.
