Installation Instructions

Install the Recommended Build of CPUSE Deployment Agent from sk92449.

With a web browser, connect to Gaia Portal at:
https://<IP address of Gaia Management Interface>-
If you changed the default port of Gaia Portal from 443, then you must also enter it (
https://<IP address>:<Port>). -
If you see the padlock icon in the top left corner, click the icon and click Yes to confirm.

In the left navigation tree, under Maintenance, click Download SmartConsole > Download.

Download the SmartConsole package from the page that opens in your default web browser.

Double-click the SmartConsole package.

Follow the instructions of the Wizard to install the SmartConsole package.
When SmartConsole is loading, the version and the SmartConsole package number is written under the SmartConsole logo.The last four digits are the Build number used in the documentation.
For example, the full package number is 82.0.9500.1059, where 1059 is the Build number.
Alternatively,

Connect to SmartConsole.

Click the SmartConsole icon at the top left corner > in the drop-down menu choose Check for Updates....

If automatic updates of SmartConsole are disabled, available updates will be displayed. Otherwise, SmartConsole is automatically updated.

If the current Build is the latest available, a "SmartConsole is up to date" message should appear, with the current Build number.
The Build number also appears in the top left corner menu > About Check Point SmartConsole.

Uninstall the current SmartConsole Build (see Uninstall instructions below).

Download the latest SmartConsole package from the Downloads page in this document.

Double-click the SmartConsole package and follow the instructions of the Wizard.

Install the Recommended Build of CPUSE Deployment Agent from sk92449.

In the left navigation tree, click Software Updates > Available Updates.

Expand the Hotfixes tab and choose a SmartConsole package to install.

Follow the instructions of the Wizard.
Uninstall Instructions

Click the Windows start button.

Choose Check Point SmartConsole.

Expand the applicable folder content, right-click the SmartConsole line, click Uninstall and follow the instructions on the screen.
Alternatively,

Click the Windows start button > Settings > Apps.

In the list of Apps & features search for smartconsole and click the applicable Check Point SmartConsole line.

Click the Uninstall button and follow the instructions on the screen.
