Installation and Uninstall Instructions for R80.40 SmartConsole

Best Practice - The Recommended SmartConsole package automatically appears as available on your SmartConsole Client that is connected to the Internet:
SmartConsole > In the top toolbar, click Install Update > click Install Now

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the SmartConsole package from the Downloads page.

  2. Uninstall the current SmartConsole Build (see below).

  3. Double-click the SmartConsole package.

  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

The Recommended SmartConsole CPUSE package automatically appears as available on the Management Server that is connected to the Internet.

Follow the installation instructions in CPUSE - Gaia Software Updates (including Gaia Software Updates Agent) > Section (4-D) "How to ..." (Gaia Clish commands, Gaia Portal actions, configuration, etc.) > Sub-section How to download SmartConsole package from Gaia Portal.

Uninstall Instructions

  1. Open Windows Settings.

  2. Click Apps.

  3. From the left, click Apps & features.

  4. In the search field, enter: smartconsole

  5. Click the applicable SmartConsole line.

  6. Click the Uninstall button.

  7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
