UPDATE:

• In the VSX Cluster Wizard, "Check Point SecurePlatform (ClusterXL)" is renamed to "Check Point Gaia (ClusterXL)".

• Removed the platforms which are not supported platforms in this version: "Crossbeam Systems" and "Check Point IPSO VRRP".

When there are many network objects, opening the IPsec VPN tab in the Security Gateway object may take a long time.

Removed the IPS checkbox from Virtual Router settings in SmartConsole. This is a cosmetic fix.

Editing a cluster object may cause SmartConsole to close.

When performing the "Where used" action on an object that is linked to a Layer and the Layer is not connected to any Policy, the Layer's details may be missing from the "Where used" window and it is not possible to navigate to it.

When navigating under the VPN Meshed Community view > Tunnel Management > Set Permanent Tunnels > On all tunnels of specific Gateways, if there are more than four Gateways some are not visible.

UPDATE: The Log4net library is updated to version 2.0.12.

UPDATE: Added a warning that the Domain name cannot be changed after creating a new Domain.

In the Shared Policies section, under the Security Policies view, it is possible to select different options for Geo Policy, even when the mouse cursor is hovering over their lines and is not located in the radio button/check box itself. Refer to sk175748.

In rare scenarios, when searching in Global Object Explorer, SmartConsole may unexpectedly close.

In rare scenarios, SmartConsole freezes when clicking on "System History" in Cluster or Gateway object.

In rare scenarios, SmartConsole unexpectedly closes when running a query in the Logs tab.

When Windows locale is set to a non-English language, creation\modification of new users fails with the "Illegal date format" error.

In some scenarios, loading the Access Control policy causes SmartConsole to close unexpectedly.

In scenarios with more than 100 Gateway objects, some views may not show some Gateways or display some of them as duplicates.

In some scenarios, it is possible to disable a parent rule for the Domain policy.

Opening the Security Gateway editor from the VPN community editor in read-only mode may cause SmartConsole to close unexpectedly.

In rare scenarios, right-clicking a Domain server in the Multi-Domain Sever view may cause SmartConsole to close unexpectedly.

When uploading Endpoint Client with SmartConsole R80.40 Build 419, the action may fail with a message "This version of Smart Endpoint is not compatible with the uploaded client. Creating a recovery media for this client might now be possible. Do you wish to upload the client anyway?"

A read only user can lock the Domain object when attempting to edit the GUI Clients.

The administrator may not able to scroll the list of Active Directory providers when there are many AD providers defined.

Changes to the columns in the Global Exception view of the Threat Prevention Policy are not saved when changing to a different view. Refer to sk165833.

In some scenarios, adding '#' symbol in 'the "End-User Agreement Settings" form under Identity Awareness would cause Threat-Prevention Policy installation to fail.

In some scenarios, the Policy installation history in the Access Tools view on a cluster member is not updated.

In rare scenarios, the "Publish" operation performed by one administrator may cause the SmartConsole of another administrator to unexpectedly close.

In some scenarios, when searching for logs per rule, the "Not Type session" filter is added automatically to the end of the query.

In environments with a large number of network objects, users may experience slowness when editing the Identity Web API settings.

In some scenarios, when a user attempts to delete a VSX Gateway / VSX Cluster, the "Server error is: Failed to remove/detach objects licenses" error message appears and the operation may not be completed successfully. Refer to sk167492.

In some scenarios, it is possible to click the menu item "Clear Staging" on an IPS protection even when the action has no effect.

On some machines, the "Copy Cell to clipboard" feature may fail with the "Unknow error" message.

SmartConsole may unexpectedly close when connecting to Domain from Multi-Domain Server using non-English Windows. Refer to sk162053.

In some scenarios, the "Content" column does not appear in the Access policy view even if the Content Awareness blade is on one of its inline-layers.

When the mouse hovers on the Custom Application Group, "Error:Loading failed" may pop up.

A new user registration key for certificate enrollment may fail to open if the expiry value for user certificates is set to 1 in Global Properties. Refer to sk163872.

When connecting through SmartConsole for the first time, the fingerprint message is not suitable for Multi-Domain System. Refer to sk167980.

NEW: SmartConsole default login timeout was increased.

NEW: Added a list item count inside the User Group, Network Group and Service Group editors. The item count supports only one level of nesting. If a group includes another group, only one object is counted (users, network and services from the nested group are not counted).

After overriding the logging or the Packet Capture option for an IPS protection, the protection may be shown as disabled. This is only a display issue.

Login with CAPI certificate may cause SmartConsole to unexpectedly close.

In a rare scenario, SmartConsole may unexpectedly close when closing a window of Revert to Revision, Central Deployment, Infinity Threat Prevention or a window hosting an extension (like Changes Report).

Topology page under gateway and cluster objects is not properly viewed when using Windows high DPI display settings. Refer to sk155892.

In some scenarios, when the user opens Cluster Object > Mobile Access > Endpoint Compliance, there is no option in the combo-box to select a policy.

After the user adds or modifies the Time field as a filter field on Event Definition in Analyzer Client, the value that appears might be different than the configured value. Refer to sk143992.

In some scenarios, the Menu option to view or edit cluster member object on Multi-Domain's gateways view does not show the correct data.

In some scenarios, the tab order in the Remote Help dialog might be incorrect.

Some messages in the self-help portal might not be properly localized in Japanese.

In some scenarios, SmartProvisioning unexpectedly closes when editing topology of Security Gateway or Cluster.

"An unexpected error occurred" message may appear in SmartEndpoint when clicking "Copy Cell to Clipboard". Refer to sk162713.

In Dynamic IP configuration, when entering SMS Provider details and email not in order (mail: first then sms:), policy installation fails with "internal error".

NEW: Domain name and IP address will be displayed first on the program buttons in the Windows Taskbar.

In setups with a large quantity of network object, users may experience slowness when editing the HTTPS Inspection policy. Refer to sk147134.

In a rare scenario, SmartConsole unexpectedly closes trying to create a user with certificate.

In some scenarios, a redundant AND operator is added to the search bar of SmartConsole Drill Down log view.

On Windows 10 with .Net framework 4.8, the view is not properly updated after scrolling up or down the name column in lists, combo box, pickers etc.

"Failed to fetch file" pop up appears when the log server is configured to timezone UTC+12 and trying to open a report of a Forensics/Threat Emulation incident.

Sessions disconnect while discarding changes.

Cannot open SmartUpdate, SmartProvisioning, SmartEndpoint when SmartConsole path contains '#'.

In a rare scenario, "Failed to open Device & License Information for <Gateway Name>" error pops up when trying to clicking the 'Device & License Information' for Security gateway in SmartConsole.

All network objects and services objects are locked when opening the Firewall or Access Zone policies in SmartEndpoint.

In a rare scenario, SmartConsole unexpectedly closes when opening a new tab in Logs & Monitor view and selecting any view or report.

Added ability for R80.20 Security Management or Multi-Domain Server to manage R80.30 Security Gateway. Refer to sk149272.

New validation added: Starting from R80.20, ClusterXL does not support Load Sharing mode. SmartConsole blocks such configuration with a warning message.

Added automatic Implied Rule for ICAP Server to allow connectivity with trusted ICAP clients.
