Appendix C – Creating an Incoming Webhook in the Microsoft Teams Channel

1. Open Microsoft Teams.

2. Create a teams channel:

   1. Click Teams.

      

   2. Click and select Create team.

      

      The Create a team window appears.

      

   3. Select From scratch > Private.

   4. Enter a name for your team.

      

   5. Click Create.

   6. To add members to the team, enter the name and click Add. If not, click Skip.

      

   The new teams channel is created.

3. Click in the upper-right corner.

4. Select Connectors.

   

5. Search for Incoming Webhook and click Add.

   

   The Incoming Webhook window appears.

   

6. Click Add.

7. Click in the upper-right corner.

   

8. Select Connectors.

9. Search for Incoming Webhook and click Configure.

   

10. Enter a name and click Create.

    

11. To copy the webhook URL, click the .

    

    Note - This URL is required to configure the Microsoft Teams connector.

12. Click Done.
