Success Criteria

The Success Criteria and Test Plan must be clear before you evaluate the Harmony Endpoint solution. The table below lists the criteria for POC Time Frame, Deployment, Functionality and User experience.

POC Time Frame and Scope
Time frame	POC start date and end date are defined and agreed with the customer.
POC assets scope	Before starting the POC, have a mutual agreement with the customer on the number of deployed endpoints and the organization’s environment to be tested.
Deployment
Management portal	Harmony Endpoint tenant is running on the selected data region.
Clients’ installation	Harmony Endpoint security clients are successfully installed according to the POC scope. All security blades are running.
Clients’ coverage	The expected number of deployed clients has been fully met.
Functionality
Sandboxing and web-downloads protection	Files written to the files system or downloaded from the web browser are checked by sandboxing inspection.
Web browsing protection and URLF	Zero-Day phishing sites are detected and prevented. URL Filtering Check Point Software Blade on a Security Gateway that allows granular control over which web sites can be accessed by a given group of users, computers or networks. Acronym: URLF. blocks unauthorized sites.
DLP and GenAI control	Browser file uploads are classified and monitored. Gen-AI prompts containing restricted data are prevented. See test use cases in DLP and Gen AI Control.
Management	Harmony Endpoint management portal is running and provides a responsive user interface experience.
Client	Security blades in the Harmony Endpoint Security client (aka capabilities or security engines) are functioning as expected based on the suggested test use cases.
User Experience
Client machine	Business related software should run smoothly without affecting the functionality of the existing end users’ applications. No lags or unexpected delays should interfere with the business continuities.
End Users	POC users have been informed of the newly implemented file download flow following the usage of the Harmony Endpoint browser extension.
Admin	Admin is able to create custom dashboards for monitoring requirements.
