Procedure

Configure a bridge to connect the management port of the AIFF Security Gateway through the BlueField-3 interface "oob_net0" to the Multi-Domain Security Management Server.

  1. Connect the out-of-band interface (copper RJ45 connector) to a management network(for example, 192.168.17.0 / 24).

    You configure the corresponding interface "oob_net0" on the DPU in the next step.

    The management network must have a DHCP server, which the AIFF's management port will use to obtain an IPv4 address.

    Make sure the management network has access to the Multi-Domain Security Management Server.

  2. Create a persistent bridge (for example, "oob_bridge0").

    Add the BlueField-3 interface "oob_net0" to this bridge.

    Use the command "netplan try" to try the netplan and then apply the new netplan.
