MOBILE OBJECTIONS
“WE ALREADY HAVE MDM IN PLACE”
- UEM/MDM/EMM is a device management tool and not a security tool, it does not proactively scan for risks on the device and
it will not prevent: Zero-day malware, Man in the Middle Attacks, Phishing/malicious URLs.
- Most of our customers add a security layer to their mobile management solution by integrating with SandBlast Mobile.
This close integration will allow both solutions to work in tandem and apply policies based on risk analysis performed by
SandBlast Mobile.
- As best practice Gartner recommends that MDM/EMM/UEM solutions should be integrated with Mobile Threat Defense
(MTD) solutions like Sandblast Mobile.
- Well not to burst your bubble ____, but MDM’s are actually really only for managing your devices, not so much securing
them. 87 percent of all network traffic is through mobile phones today. And this number is growing. Astronomical.
And I got to tell you that a lot of people I talk to are not aware of this and don’t take mobile security seriously.
Any attack on your device can be a huge breach inside your network. Checkpoint offers a mobile security solution that works
