Open Postman on the Windows machine :

Click Import at the top of the Postman application :

Choose File and Navigate to the following Directory :

C:\Users\admin\Desktop\Automation\postman_collection_v2.1\GAIA API.postman_collection

Review the commands in the collection :

Create a new Environment named “Gaia_API_<your name>” with the following keys :

Click Save

Select this new environment to make API calls to the Gaia API :

Find the login command in the Gaia API collection using Postman :

Click the Send and look at the output that Postman provides:

  1. Look for a 200 message on the command.

  2. Review the details that were provided.

  3. Verify that the sid is saved to the environment so it can be used for the following steps.

Login to the Internal-GW using MobaXterm to open a shell into the gateway:

Run the following command :

clish -c "show configuration dns"

Using the Gaia API, change the secondary and the tertiary DNS server:

  1. secondary : 8.8.8.8

  2. tertiary : 9.9.9.9

Click Send

Re-run the show configuration DNS and see if clish has been updated :

Use Postman to verify the change using the show-dns api call :

Change the IP address and mask, and add a comment to eth1 , Use the Postman Collection as a guide and the api_docs.

Copy the following line to the Body [JSON] of set-physical-interface:
