set initiate-trust-with-primary

In the R81.10.X releases, this command is available starting from the R81.10.15 version.

Description

Initiates trust from the Secondary (Standby) Cluster Member to the Primary (Active) Cluster Member.

  1. Click the Device view > Advanced section > High Availability page.

  2. Click Configure Cluster.

Syntax

  1. Initiate trust from the Secondary (Standby) Cluster Member to the Primary (Active) Cluster Member:

    set initiate-trust-with-primary sic-password <SIC Password>

  2. Configure the Secondary (Standby) Cluster Member with this command:

    set cluster-config priority secondary <options>

Parameter

sic-password

Configures the one-time SIC password for the synchronization network.

The required minimum is four characters.

This password may contain letters, digits, and special characters.

Important - You must use the same SIC password that you used on the Primary (Active) Cluster Member in the "set cluster-config priority primary <options>" command (see set cluster-config).

Example Command

  1. Initiate trust from the Secondary (Standby) Cluster Member to the Primary (Active) Cluster Member:

    set initiate-trust-with-primary sic-password MyP@asswOrd!

  2. Configure the Secondary (Standby) Cluster Member:

    set cluster-config priority secondary <options>
