Configuring Location Awareness on Security Gateways

To configure Location Awareness on Security Gateways:

1. In SmartConsole, open Global Properties > Remote Access > Endpoint Connect.

2. In Connectivity Settings, in Network Location Awareness, select Yes and click Configure.

   The Network Location Awareness window opens.

3. Select a location awareness configuration.

   • The client connects to the Security Gateway through one of its internal interfaces - This option, based on interface topology, is recommended and selected by default.

   • The client connects from this network or group - Select this to specify the network considered to be internal.

   • The client runs on a computer that can access its Active Directory Domain - Bases the location on the availability of the Active Directory Domain Controller.

4. Click OK.

5. Install policy.
