asg stat

This command is supported only on these:

  • ElasticXL Cluster

  • Maestro Security Group

  • Scalable Chassis Security Group

Notes:

  • You can run this command in Gaia gClish or in the Expert mode.

  • If you run this command in the context of a VSNext Virtual Gateway / Legacy VSX Virtual System, the output applies only to that Virtual Gateway / Legacy Virtual System.

Description

Show the state of the Security Group and its hardware components.

To show this output continuously, use the "asg monitor (on Security Groups)" command.

The command output shows:

  • Security Gateway Mode (Gateway or Legacy VSX)

  • Number of Security Group Members in the Security Group

  • Number of VSNext Virtual Gateways / Legacy VSX Virtual Systems

  • Information related to VSNext / Legacy VSX configuration

  • Uptime

  • Software Version

Syntax

asg stat

      -h

      -i list_all

      -i sgm_info

      -i tasks

      -v [-amw]

      vs [all [-p]]

Parameters

Parameter

No Parameters

Shows the Security Group status (short output).

-h

Shows the built-in help.

-i list_all

Shows:

  • The IDs of the Security Group Members, their state and IP addresses

  • Tasks and on which Security Group Member they run

-i sgm_info

Shows the IDs of the Security Group Members, their state and IP addresses

-i tasks

Shows the list of Tasks and on which Security Group Member they run:

-v [-amw]

Shows the detailed Security Group status (verbose output).

The "-amw" parameter shows the update status for the applicable Software Blades.

vs [all [-p]]

Shows the VSX information:

  • vs

    Shows a general output for a Virtual System.

    Run this command in the context of the applicable Virtual System.

  • vs all

    Output also shows all Virtual Systems and their states.

  • vs all -p

    Output also shows all Virtual Systems and a summary sentences for the health status instead of shows the state of each Virtual System.
