Hosts
You should add host addresses for systems that communicate frequently with the Gaia system.
You can:

View the entries in the hosts table.

Add an entry to the list of hosts.

Modify the IP address of a host.

Delete a host entry.
Configuring Hosts in Gaia Portal

Important - On Scalable Platforms (ElasticXL, Maestro, and Chassis), you must connect to the Gaia Portal of the applicable Security Group. |

Description
Add, edit, delete and show the name and IP addresses for hosts that communicate frequently with the Gaia operating system.
Syntax

add host name <Name of Host> ipv4-address <IPv4 Address of Host> ipv6-address <IPv6 Address of Host> |

set host name <Name of Host> ipv4-address <IPv4 Address of Host> ipv6-address <IPv6 Address of Host> |

Parameters

Parameter |
Description |

The name of a static host. Must include only alphanumeric characters, dashes ('-'), and periods ('.'). Periods must be followed by a letter or a digit. The name must not end in a dash or a period. There is no default value. |

The IPv4 address of the host. |
|
The IPv6 address of the host. |
