ips off

Description

Disables the IPS Software Blade on-the-fly.

Note - To enable, run the "ips on" command.

Syntax

ips off

Important:

In a Cluster, you must configure all the Cluster Members in the same way.
On Scalable Platforms (Maestro and Chassis), you must run the applicable commands in the Expert mode on the applicable Security Group.

Example 1

[Expert@MyGW:0]# ips off

IPS is disabled

Please note that for the configuration to apply for connections from existing templates, you have to run this command with -n flag which deletes existing templates.

Without '-n', it will fully take effect in a few minutes.
