fwmode

Description

Shows and configures the Firewall mode - User Space Firewall (USFW) and Kernel Space Firewall (KSFW).

Important:

  • To configure the Firewall mode, use the "cpconfig" command as described in sk167052.

  • You must run this command in the Expert mode.

  • In a Cluster, you must configure all the Cluster Members in the same way.

  • On Scalable Platforms (ElasticXL, Maestro, and Chassis), you must connect to the Gaia Portal of the applicable Security Group.

Shows the available parameters.

-h

Shows the complete built-in help.

-i

Shows if a reboot is required after you changed the Firewall mode.

-k

Configures the Kernel Space Firewall (KSFW) mode.

-q

Quiet mode - does not print messages on the screen.

-r

Forces the immediate reboot after the change.

-s

Shows the current Firewall mode.

-u

Configures the User Space Firewall (USFW) mode.
