Configuring the IP Address of the Gaia Management Interface
The Gaia Check Point security operating system that combines the strengths of both SecurePlatform and IPSO operating systems. Management Interface
(1) Interface on a Gaia Security Gateway or Cluster member, through which Management Server connects to the Security Gateway or Cluster member. (2) Interface on Gaia computer, through which users connect to Gaia Portal or CLI. is pre-configured with the IP address 192.168.1.1.
You can change this IP address during or after you run the Gaia First Time Configuration Wizard.
If you must access the Gaia computer over the network, assign the applicable IP address to that interface before you connect the Gaia computer to the network.
If you change the IP address of the Gaia Management Interface during the First Time Configuration Wizard, this warning shows:

In your web browser, connect the Gaia Portal

In the left navigation tree, go to Network Management > Network Interfaces. |

In the Management Interface section, click Set Management Interface. |

Select the applicable interface. |

Click OK. |

In the Interfaces section, select the Management Interface and click Edit. |

Assign the applicable IP address. |

Click OK. |
