Configuring Static Multicast Routes in Gaia Portal

From the left navigation tree, click Advanced Routing > Static Multicast Routes.

In the Static Multicast Routes section, click Add.

Configure the multicast destination parameters:

In the Destination field, enter the IPv4 address.

In the Subnet mask field, enter the IPv4 network mask.

In the Add Gateway section, configure the next hop gateways for the multicast route:

Click Add Gateway.

In the IPv4 Address field, enter the IPv4 unicast address of the next hop gateway.

Optional: In the Priority field, enter the priority of this next hop gateway.
Description
The priority value defines which next hop gateway is selected as the nexthop, when multiple next hop gateways are configured for the same static multicast route.

The lower the priority, the higher the preference.

When multiple next hop gateways are configured with the same priority, the one with the lower IPv4 address (for example, 192.168.10.1 instead of 192.168.10.2) is selected.

next hop gateways with no priority configured are preferred over next hop gateways with a configured priority value.
Range: None, or 1-8
Default: None (to set the default value, delete the current value 1-8)

Click OK.

Click Save.

From the left navigation tree, click Advanced Routing > Static Multicast Routes.

In the Static Multicast Routes section, select the route.

Click Edit.

Configure the applicable settings and click OK.

Click Save.

From the left navigation tree, click Advanced Routing > Static Multicast Routes.

In the Static Multicast Routes section, select the route.

Click Delete.
