RFC 1403 Compatibility

You can configure GaiaClosed Check Point security operating system that combines the strengths of both SecurePlatform and IPSO operating systems. to run the OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 instances in a mode that is compatible with RFC 1403.

Configuring "RFC 1403 Compatibility" in Gaia Clish

To enable this option in Gaia Clish:

  1. Enable this option:

    set router-options rfc1403compatibility on

  2. Save the configuration:

    save config

  3. Examine the configuration:

    show router-options

    Examine the row RFC 1403 Compatibility.

To disable this option in Gaia Clish:

  1. Disable this option:

    set router-options rfc1403compatibility off

  2. Save the configuration:

    save config

  3. Examine the configuration:

    show router-options
