cplic del

Description

Deletes a Check Point license on a host, including unwanted evaluation, expired, and other licenses.

This command can delete a license on both local computer, and on remote managed computers.

Syntax

cplic del {-h | -help}

cplic [-d] del [-F <Output File>] <Signature> <Object Name>

You can run this command:

  • On a Management Server / Security Gateway / Cluster Member in Gaia Clish or the Expert mode

  • On a Scalable Platform Security Group in Gaia gClish or the Expert mode

Parameters

Shows the applicable built-in usage.

-d

Runs the command in debug mode.

Use only if you troubleshoot the command itself.

Best Practice - If you use this parameter, then redirect the output to a file, or use the script command to save the entire CLI session.

-F <Output File>

Saves the command output to the specified file.

<Signature>

The signature string within the license.

To see the license signature string, run the cplic print command.

<Object Name>

The name of the Security Gateway / Cluster Member object as configured in SmartConsole.
