fw -i

Description

By default, the fw commands apply to the entire Security Gateway.

The fw commands show aggregated information for all CoreXL Firewall instances.

The fw -i commands apply to the specified CoreXL Firewall instance.

Syntax

fw -i <ID of CoreXL Firewall instance> <Command>

Parameters

<ID of CoreXL Firewall instance>

Specifies the ID of the CoreXL Firewall instance.

To see the available IDs, run the fw ctl multik stat command.

<Command>

Only these commands support the fw -i syntax:

  • fw -i <ID> conntab ...

  • fw -i <ID> ctl get ...

  • fw -i <ID> ctl leak ...

  • fw -i <ID> ctl pstat ...

  • fw -i <ID> ctl set ...

  • fw -i <ID> monitor ...

  • fw -i <ID> tab ...
