Configuring Identity Awareness API

This section describes how to configure and work with Identity AwarenessClosed Check Point Software Blade on a Security Gateway that enforces network access and audits data based on network location, the identity of the user, and the identity of the computer. Acronym: IDA. API.

Configuring Identity Awareness API Settings

  1. From the left navigation panel, click Gateways & Servers.

  2. Open the Security GatewayClosed Dedicated Check Point server that runs Check Point software to inspect traffic and enforce Security Policies for connected network resources. / ClusterClosed Two or more Security Gateways that work together in a redundant configuration - High Availability, or Load Sharing. object.

  3. From the left tree, click Identity Awareness.

  4. In the Identity Sources section, select Identity Web API and click Settings.
