Mail Notification
Introduction
Mail notifications (also known as Mail Relay) allow you to send email from the Security Gateway Dedicated Check Point server that runs Check Point software to inspect traffic and enforce Security Policies for connected network resources..
You can send email interactively or from a script. The email is relayed to a mail hub that sends the email to the final recipient.
Mail notifications are used as an alerting mechanism when a Firewall rule Set of traffic parameters and other conditions in a Rule Base (Security Policy) that cause specified actions to be taken for a communication session. is triggered.
