Important - Before you run the vsx_util commands:

Syntax

vsx_util remove_member

Required Input

  • The applicable VSX Cluster object.

  • The applicable VSX Cluster Member object.

Comments

  • Before you run this command:

    • Make sure to remove (detach) the license from the VSX Cluster Member.

    • Make sure to run the "cphastop" command to avoid unexpected failover from the VSX Cluster Member.

    • Make sure to disconnect the VSX Cluster Member from all networks, except from the Management Server.

  • Execute the command and follow the instructions on the screen.
