Trusted Client - General

What can I do here?

Use this window to create a trusted client.

Getting Here - Manage & Settings > Permissions and Administrators > Advanced > Trusted Clients > New

Or:

SmartConsole for Multi-Domain Server > Multi Domain > Permissions and Administrators > Advanced > Trusted Clients > New

Configure these Trusted Client assignment parameters:

Object Name - Enter a unique administrator name.
Object Comment - Optionally, enter a free text description or comment.
General
- Type - Select a trusted client object type:
  - Any - Allow access from all clients.
  - IP Address - Allow client access for a specified an IPv4 or IPv6 address. Click Resolve from name to get the IP address from the DNS.
  - IP address range - Allow client access from a specified range of IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.
  - Net Mask - Allow client access from the specified IPv4 or IPv6 IP address and subnet.
  - Name - Allow access from the specified host name.
  - Wildcards - Allow access from all clients that match the specified IP address wildcard characters.
