ClusterXL Error Messages

Each important clusterClosed Two or more Security Gateways that work together in a redundant configuration - High Availability, or Load Sharing. event that affects the Cluster Members has a unique code that appears in the /var/log/messages file and dmesg.

Each cluster event message starts with the prefix CLUS-XXXXXX-Y.

A six-digit error code.

These error codes specify the events:

  • Events related to Critical Devices

  • Events related to the states of Cluster Members

  • Events related to cluster synchronization

  • Events related to policy installation

The first digit shows which Cluster MemberClosed Security Gateway that is part of a cluster. generated the event:

  • 1 - local member

  • 2 - remote member

The second digit represents the cluster type event

The meaning of the other digits depends on the cluster event type.

Y

Shows the ID or the NAME of the local Cluster Member that generated this log message.
