vsx_util remove_member

Description

Removes a Cluster Member from a VSX Cluster.

Syntax

vsx_util remove_member

Required Input

• The applicable VSX Cluster object
• The applicable VSX Cluster Member object

Comments

• Before you run this command:
  • Make sure to remove (detach) the license from the VSX Cluster Member
  • Make sure to run the cphastop command to avoid unexpected failover from the VSX Cluster Member
  • Make sure to disconnect the VSX Cluster Member from all networks, except from the Management Server
• Execute the command and follow the instructions on the screen
