Multi-Queue Administration

There are two main roles for CPU cores applicable to SecureXL and CoreXL:

• A CPU core that runs SecureXL and CoreXL Secure Network Distributor (SND).

  You can manually configure this with the sim affinity -s command.

• A CPU core that runs a CoreXL Firewall instance.

  You can manually configure this with the fw ctl affinity command.

For best performance, the same CPU core should not work in both roles - as CoreXL SND and as CoreXL FW.
