Before you can configure IPv6 addresses and IPv6 static routes on a Gaia Security Management Server or Security Gateway you must:

Enable IPv6 support in the Gaia operating system on a Security Management Server or Security Gateway. |

On the Security Management Server: Install an IPv6 license. |

In SmartConsole: Configure the IPv6 address in Security Management Server or Security Gateway object. |

In SmartConsole: Configure the applicable objects with IPv6 addresses. |
5 |
In SmartConsole: Configure the applicable IPv6 Access Control rules. |

In SmartConsole: Install Access Control Policy on Security Gateway object. |

In the navigation tree, click System Management > System Configuration. |

In the IPv6 Support area, click On. |

Click Apply. |

Confirm, when prompted to reboot. |
After the reboot, you can configure IPv6 addresses and IPv6 static routes.
