What background information do I need to know?
A Services Objects group is a collection of services and protocols.
Groups are used in cases where you would like to apply the same definitions to a group of users. In addition, Groups are used in cases where you cannot work with single objects.
Groups can greatly facilitate and simplify network management. Groups let you to perform operations only once on the group, instead of repeating them for every service in the group.
