Cloud Demo

Cloud Demo lets you test security management features without the need to deploy a Security Management Server.

When you start a new Demo:

• A new exclusive Demo server is created and assigned to you.
• The new Demo server is identified by a Demo ID.
• The Demo ID lets you join an existing Demo at a later time.
• The Demo ID supports multiple users.
• Demo servers are time-limited. After the time period expires, the server is discarded.
• Internet connectivity is required.

To run:

1. Open SmartConsole.
2. Select Demo Mode in the SmartConsole Login window.
3. Click Next.
4. Select one of these:
   • Start a new demo
   • Join existing demo
5. Click Login.

Note - A popup message will inform you when the demo is about to expire.

Starting a New Demo

If you selected Start a new demo, a Security Management Server is created and assigned to you.

To log into the same demo server later, enter the Demo ID shown in the window.

1. Click Continue.
2. When the fingerprint shows, click Proceed.

Join Existing Demo

To join an existing demo:

1. Select one of the built-in user names.

   

   Note - You can also enter a user that you previously created in Manage & Settings > Permissions & Administrators.

2. Enter a Demo ID or select one from the list.

   

3. Click Login.
