This section summarizes the Gaia Clish interface command and its parameters.

Description

Add, configure, and delete interfaces and interface properties.

Syntax

• To add an interface:

  add interface <Name of Interface> 6in4 <6in4 Tunnel ID> remote <IPv4 Address> [ttl <Time>] alias <IPv4 Address>/<Mask Length> loopback <IPv4 Address>/<Mask Length> vlan <VLAN ID>

• To configure an interface:

  set interface <Name of Interface> auto-negotiation {on | off} comments "Text" ipv4-address <IPv4 Address> mask-length <Mask Length> subnet-mask <Mask> ipv6-address <IPv6 Address> mask-length <Mask Length> ipv6-autoconfig {on | off} link-speed 10M/half 10M/full 100M/half 100M/full 1000M/full mac-addr <MAC Address> monitor-mode {on | off} mtu <68-16000 | 1280-16000> rx-ringsize <0-4096> state {on | off} tx-ringsize <0-4096>

• To show an interface:

  show interface<SPACE><TAB>

  show interfaceS all

• To delete an interface, or interface configuration:

  delete interface <Name of Interface> 6to4 <6in4 Tunnel ID> alias <IPv4 Address> ipv4-address <IPv4 Address> ipv6-address <IPv6 Address> loopback <IPv4 Address>/<Mask Length> vlan <VLAN ID>

  Important - After you add, configure, or delete features, run the save config command to save the settings permanently.

Note - There are some command options and parameters that you cannot configure in the Gaia Portal.
