Installing a Multi-Domain Server on Open Servers
To install and configure Check Point products on Gaia, use the First Time Configuration Wizard or configure the operating system and install the products in the Gaia Portal.

To install Multi-Domain Server on an Open Server:
- In your web browser, connect to the Gaia Portal:
https://
<Gaia management IP address>
- In the window, log in with the administrator name and password that you defined during Gaia installation.

- Set an IPv4 address for the management interface.
If you change the management IP address, the new IP address is assigned to the interface. The old IP address is added as an alias and is used to maintain connectivity.

- Enter the of the server.
Optional:
- Enter the , and IPv4 addresses for the .
- Set the IP Address and Port for a Proxy Server.
Click .
- Set the date and time manually, or enter the hostname and IPv4 address of the NTP server. Click .
- Enter the username and password for the Multi-Domain Server administrator account. Click .
- For , select . Click .
- For the type of server, select .
- Select the .
Leading interfaces are physical interfaces that connect to the external network. These interfaces are for Domain Management Server virtual IP addresses. Each leading VIP interface can have up to 250 virtual IP addresses (250 Domain Management Servers).
- Configure the GUI clients that can log into the Multi-Domain Server. Click .
- Set the and for the Multi-Domain Server administrator account. Click .
- Review the summary and then click .
- Click when prompted to start the configuration process.
A progress bar tracks the configuration of each task.

- If the window opens, click or . Check Point recommends that you click Yes. Your data is never shared with third parties.
