Layer Properties - General

What can I do here?

Use this window to:

Edit a layer or create a new one
Select the Software Blades to which the rules of this Layer apply
Set if multiple policies can share the layer
Configure Proxy

Getting Here - Menu > Manage Policies and Layers > Layers > New or Edit > General

Layer - General

Software Blades - Select to enable one or more Software Blades.
- Firewall (Network Access Control)
- Application and URL Filtering
- Content Awareness
- Mobile Access
Sharing - Select this option to share this layer with other policies.
Note - You can share this layer with other policies as an Ordered Layer. If you use the layer as an In-line layer, policy installation will fail on pre-R80 gateways.
