ICMP Properties
- Name assigned here should be identical to the server service name (as it appears in the services file), so that the Firewall will be able to retrieve some properties automatically. If NIS is being used, the Firewall will automatically retrieve the information from the NIS.
- ICMP Type and Code, as listed in RFC 792. See
http://www.iana.org/assignments/icmp-parameters - Keep connections open after policy has been installed even if they are not allowed under the new policy. This overrides the settings in the Connection Persistence page. If you change this property, the change will not affect open connections, but only future connections.
