Keyword Data Type

What can I do here?

Use this window to create or edit a keyword data type. This is a list of words.

Data that is matched for this list of words and the threshold that you set here is logged as a Data Loss Prevention incident and handled according to the action of the rule.

Getting Here - Security Policies > Access Control > Policy > Content column > add new items > New > Keywords

Data Type - General Properties

Name - Name of the data type representation.
Comment - Optional comments and notes.
Description - For built-in data types, the description explains the purpose of this type of data representation. For custom-made data types, you can use this field to provide more details.

Keywords Data Type Fields

Search List

Specify keywords or phrases to search for - Click + to add the keyword to the list of this data type.

Threshold

This data will be matched only if it contains:

All keywords and phrases - Select if the data will be matched to the rule only if all the words in the list appear in the data contents. Clear if any of the words may appear.
At least <number> keywords or phrase - Define how many of the words in the list must appear in the contents of the data to match the rule.

If some of the words are more important than others (the rule should be matched if certain words of the list appear, and if all appear), consider using a Weighted Keyword data type rather than the simple Keyword type.
