Use this window to configure the general settings of an MMS Resource object.

NOTE - To create a Rule with an MMS Resource, the MMS Resource must be associated with a particular WAP service.

Getting Here - Object Explorer > New > Resource > MMS

The Multimedia Messaging Service

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is a communications technology developed by 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project) that lets users exchange -- over capable mobile phones and other devices -- messages with multimedia content.

MMS Options

Name - Enter a name for the MMS Resource.
Action - Accept or Drop traffic that matches a Firewall Rule using the MMS Resource.
Track - Log the activity, to send an Alert, or take no action (None) when a packet matches on a Firewall Rule with the MMS Resource.
