Chassis High Availability Active/Active Mode Layer 2

Note - High Availability Active/Active L2 mode applies to VSX only.

In Active/Active mode, both Chassis in a dual Chassis deployment handle connections. Connections between both Chassis are synchronized. Active/Active High Availability supports Layer 2 topologies.
Select High Availability Active/Active L2 mode when:
- An external device or protocol sends connections to both Chassis and makes the decision as to which Chassis is Active.
- Routing to Chassis is not symmetric. Packets for some connections can be sent to both Chassis.
