Note - Either get the offline package from Check Point Support, or export the package from a source Gaia server, on which this package was already downloaded / installed (for package export instructions, refer to sk92449 - section "(4-D) "How to ...""). |

Download the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package to your computer.

Install the latest build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.
-
With a web browser, connect to the Gaia Portal on your Gaia server.

Navigate to the Upgrades (CPUSE) section > click the Status and Actions page.

Import the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package:
-
In the upper right corner, click the Import Package button.

In the Import Package window, click Browse....
-
Select the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package (either an offline TAR/TGZ file, or an exported TAR file).
-
Click Import.
-

Above the list of all software packages, click the Showing Recommended packages button > select All.

Make sure this Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator does not have conflicts with other installed CPUSE packages:

In the list of packages, select the package Check Point R<version> Jumbo hotfix T<number>.

From the top toolbar, click the More button > click Verifier (or right-click the package and click Verifier).

Install this Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator:

In the list of packages, select the package Check Point R<version> Jumbo hotfix T<number>.

From the top toolbar, click the Install Update button.

Download the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package to your computer.
-
Transfer the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package to the Gaia server (to some directory).
-
Install the latest build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.
-
Connect to the command line on the Gaia server.
-
Log in.
-
If your default shell is the Expert mode, go to Gaia Clish:
[Expert@HostName:0]# clish
-
Get the lock for the Gaia configuration database:
HostName:0> lock database override
-
Import the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package from the hard disk:
HostName:0> installer import local /<Full_Path>/<Package_File_Name>.TGZ_or_TAR

Show the imported packages:
HostName:0> show installer packages imported
-
Make sure this Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator does not have conflicts with other installed CPUSE packages:
HostName:0> installer verify[Press SPACE][Press TAB]
HostName:0> installer verify <Package_Number>

Install this Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package:
HostName:0> installer install <Package_Number>
Uninstall Instructions

Important - This Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator removes all its packages during uninstall. |

Get the latest build of CPUSE Agent:

If the Gaia server is connected to the Internet, do one of these:
-
Configure the CPUSE Software Updates Policy to allow the self-update of the CPUSE Agent.
-
Manually install the latest build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.

If the Gaia server is not connected to the Internet:
Manually install the latest build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.
-

With a web browser, connect to the Gaia Portal on your Gaia server.
-
Navigate to the Upgrades (CPUSE) section > click the Status and Actions page.

Above the list of all software packages, click the Showing Recommended packages button > select All.
-
Right-click the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package Check Point R<version> Jumbo hotfix T<number> > click Uninstall.
-
A warning appears that after this uninstall, the server reboots automatically.
Click OK to start the uninstall.

Get the latest build of CPUSE Agent:

If the Gaia server is connected to the Internet, do one of these:

Configure the CPUSE Software Updates Policy to allow self-update of the CPUSE Agent.

Manually install the latest build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.

If the Gaia server is not connected to the Internet:
Manually install the latest build of CPUSE Agent from sk92449.

Connect to the command line on the Gaia server.
-
Log in.
-
If your default shell is the Expert mode, go to Gaia Clish:
[Expert@HostName:0]# clish

Get the lock for the Gaia configuration database:
HostName:0> lock database override

Uninstall the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator package:
HostName:0> installer uninstall[Press SPACE][Press TAB]
HostName:0> installer uninstall <Package_Number>
The progress in percentage appears in Gaia Clish.

Server reboots automatically.
